Task:
Feeding of up to eight ingredients into a W&P mega compounding extruder- Achieving optimum short-term accuracy (repeatability and linearity) over a 15 second period – the customer desired a better than ±0.5% accuracy
- Provide flexibility to move feeders to other lines
- Provide flexibility for easy cleaning and line changeover
The product is a high-end engineering plastic.
Solution:- Provide K2-ML loss-in-weight feeders with the new SFT II weighing technology
- Demonstrated excellent material test performance using new sampling system with SFT II weighing technology
- Provided all feeders on movable carts with quick disconnects
